Consortium training - let's get together!

Do you find that Homeless Link’s scheduled courses are too far away to travel to, or beyond your budget? Consortium training is a new regional training model designed by Homeless Link with you specifically in mind. Through this model we can support you to get together with a group of agencies in your region and hold high quality, locally relevant Homeless Link training course(s) at just **£80 per place** for members.

Lead a consortium

Please call 020 7960 3030 to have a chat about the benefits of leading a training consortium in your area.

We will

  • Offer you free training for two delegates
  • Coordinate dates, arrange trainer and meet all trainer costs
  • Support you throughout the process, including help identifying local agencies to take part
  • Provide everything you’ll need on-the-day including signage, course packs and certificates
  • Set up a webpage for your course(s) with online booking.

You will

  • Take the lead on establishing course topic(s) that fulfil a regional training need. Most courses on Homeless Link’s training programme are available (www.homeless.org.uk/training)
  • Get together with local agencies to reach the minimum of number paying delegates – 10 for a one-day course - (or we’re afraid the course won’t be able to run)
  • Provide a suitable venue & AV for the course (we’re thinking you’ll have access to your own on-site or locally provided facilities)
  • Provide lunch and refreshments.

Join a consortium

See training listings to search for and book onto current consortia.

We will

  • Let you know when a training consortium is being set up in your region (we can only do this if you’re a Homeless Link member! See http://www.homeless.org.uk/join )

You can

  • Book onto established consortia at www.homeless.org.uk/training
  • Help the lead agency ensure the course will run by encouraging local support to help reach minimum numbers.

If you need affordable training but don’t have the space or capacity to lead a consortium, why not get together with local organisations to identify agencies who may be interested in taking the lead?
