Who we are

Homeless Link is the national membership organisation for frontline homelessness agencies in England. We work in close collaboration with the government and other agencies involved in the homelessness sector. Our growing membership and achievements to date reflect our ability to be a powerful force of change that is needed to bring an end to homelessness.

What can we do for you?

Membership of Homeless Link provides you with the connections and resources to help homeless people rebuild their lives:

Influence

Working collectively through Homeless Link our members can and do influence government policy. Through our connections and resources we act as the vital central voice for the homelessness sector. Our members can also influence our work by becoming representatives on our National Advisory Council, voting to elect board members and by standing for election themselves at our AGM.

Get connected

Homeless Link provides the opportunity for you to network and share knowledge, experience, solutions and contacts with others in the sector. We do this through our events, courses, newsletters, website and through our quarterly magazine, ‘Connect’.

Raise your profile

When you become a member, you’ll be able to utilise our network and communication channels to promote your organisation in the homelessness and connected sectors at events and through our print and online media.

Information

Our regional teams provide local members with the tools they need to improve their service. A wealth of up-to-date information, including good practice toolkits, training, sector news and policy updates are also available.

Research

Our research forum provides members with an opportunity to learn about and improve the quality, coordination and impact of research conducted in the homelessness sector.

Save Money

Members benefit from discounts on our training courses and conferences and for online and promotional opportunities. Our jobs board and e-bulletin can also save you significant time and money.

ACEVO (the Association of Chief Executives of Voluntary Organisations) is also offering all Homeless Link members the opportunity to become a member of ACEVO at a discounted rate. If you join ACEVO before 24 April 2009 you will receive: A waived joining fee – a saving of £45 (you only have to pay the annual membership fee) and a copy of ONE of the following best selling publications: A CEO’s Guide to Board Development or Win-Win: A guide to successful negotiation strategy and tactics for third sector leaders.

Homeless Link Community membership for only £10

If your turnover is less than £50,000 per annum, this membership is for you. Please click here for more information.

Voluntary Organisations

If you wish your organisation to join Homeless Link then please fill out our online membership order form. We will then invoice you for payment.

Public Sector membership for only £199

As an introductory offer we’d like to give the public sector the chance to join Homeless Link at the significantly reduced price of £199, with an extra 15% off when you sign up at one of our events.

Corporate membership for only £199

If your organisation is not a voluntary or public sector body then you can join Homeless Link as a corporate member.

Service User membership

Homeless Link has developed a new membership category that puts service users, through their core management group, at the forefront of developments in the sector. Join Homeless Link for just £10 and have your say on how to end homelessness once and for all. Service User membership is open to all service user groups that have direct control of their own bank account.
